Right my celica st185 has the following spec : MHG, fmic, exhaust, boostcontroller, Blitz access ecu,
What else can i do to her to get some more power i cant afford to spend loads of money on a standalone ecu so thats out the question at the minute.

thanks si

Simply answer is not a lot!
May be an uprated fuel pump (Warlbro 255lph).

TBH to really get more power you're going to have to spend ££££s
HKS (or similar) Camshafts
Oversized valves
Stem seals etc
Port and Poilsh Head

After this you are getting to the forged rebuild stage to cope with additional boost.
Then there's controlling it all (injectors, fpr, piggy-back or standalone ecu).

decoke the cylinder head, relap the valves etc to restore lost power.

retard the stock st185 exhaust cam to 6 degrees using the stock pulley and dowel pin , or use a st205 exhaust cam

also fit a higher lift st205 inlet cam, and then reshim

Oh right :( would a fitting a fuel pump and Fpr really make that much difference?
The thing is I'm planning on keepin the car on the road this year for the shows then putting it to the back of the garage and buying a st205 ready for next summer.

I really don't no what to do :s

no.

fitting a 255lph pump will cause further overfuelling and rob you of power.

adding an adj fuel pres reg to compensate will simply add further cost and not yield anymore power.

1. Service
2. Check the ignition timing. Maybe advance by a couple of degrees...
3. Weight saving
4. Induction kit
5. Downpipe
6. Clean the injectors
7. Replace turbo

What boost are you running?

Fuel pump & FPR - leave them alone unless you have a bigger turbo as you might already be overfuelling

I forgot to say Ive got a de-cat and a induction kit on there, I'm running 1bar of boost with a greedy boost controller.

Funny you should ask that I haven't had it on a dyno yet that is my next thing to do hopefully next month :)

What sort of power should i expect to see?

Hmm how longs a piece of string :?, running 1bar i think around 230-240 possibly ?
I would consider anything above a bonus.

this is what i mean, untill we know the kind of figure you are currently running we dont know where to go from you see.

as got the wheel bhp and that too and then you can see if your car is running similar to others with the kind of mods then go from there.

205 turbo.

Wind the boost up a bit more, but you should get a wideband AFR gauge to check you're not going weak at the top end.

Yes, agree with Dale, get the car on a rolling road so you have a baseline power and torque figure plus associated boost and AFR's. It's very easy to kill the engine if you run too much boost for the spec. It can be huge fun, briefly, then a huge pain in the wallet to rebuild/replace the blown engine   Choose your mods carefully then respect the car when you drive it. Works every time.

Right I'm going to fit a 205 ECU so I can get rid of the airflow meter :)

You can have my 205 ecu when I find a good priced stand alone one for mine.
