G'day fellas,
Im going down the front mount road with the GT4 and i was wondering if your code 54 write up applies for the ST185CS as well? Im planning on running a cooler from an evo 7. Will post up pics and progress as usual. I wanted to keep the WTA, but after some of the mods ive done, i will be able to gain more from a front mount.

Cheers
Shane

No. The setup on the 205 is different to the 185. It should be much easier to fool the ECU on the 185.

Initial things I would look at:

1. Bridge the IC level sensor
2. Possibly just remove the pump, if this flags up an error at the ECU then I would think that a resistor is all that is required in place of the pump.

Will be interested to hear how you get on :)

when i fitted a fmic to my 165, all i had to do was remove the chargecooler pump and bridge the chargecooler level sensor with a piece of wire.

Thanks for the heads up fellas. I will look into for sure.

Im looking at running either a 450 x 300 x 76 - 2.5 Inch inlet/outlet core or a 600 x 300 x 76 - 2.5 Inch inlet/outlet.

with 2.5" pipe work all around. What would you guys say is the best option, looking for least lag as possible.

I was even thinking 2" from turbo to the intercooler, then 2.5" from intercooler to TB?

Thanks
Shane
