Has anyone done this before? How on earth did you get it to fit?
There seems to be no room in the engine bay for the size of the filter.
I have managed to drill new holes for the adaptor plate, although I'm now stuck with the support bracket they supplied to attach to the AFM.
I know the 57-0388 kit is for the a2a car but there isn't much difference.

Scratching my head here.

Strange thing just happened. I went out again and started the car and let it idle. It dropped right down and nearly died...however I left it this time and it picked itself up again to 800rpm (normal idle speed)....the fan kicked in to cool the rad as normal. the temp gauge stayed as normal.
i wonder if it's the ecu remapping itself after I reset it?
