Decided it was about time that I started on another winter project, as well as more mapping, maybe turbo kit.

Found a few possibilities for intercooler core to fit teh ST205, please bear in mind that I woudl like to keep my aircon as I dont like boil in the bag person :-) Standard ST205 Chargecooler radiator is 700 x 244 x 31mm and hence it needs to roughly fit in this space witha bit of jiggery pokery.

Doomanic - where did you get the core from?

With the current level of info, at present it seems that the best sized core would be 75mm thick vs a 100mm thick core.

The core came from Sneaky.

I would have preferred a 75mm core, but at the price i couldn't turn it down.

Its one of those lorry intercoolers

I bought one similar or may even the same brand as the one shown above, great until I picked it up, 12 kilos, umm, a little heavy.

Its been keeping the turbo temps down, but then again the ambient temp is low.
My poor little ct26 pumping hot air when on the limit of boost.

Still loads more to do on the old 4, the list is never ending..

I have now most of the temperature sensors installed and wired, this will give the following points for readings: turbo out to intercooler, intercooler out, throttle body temp, air intake filter temp.

The rest of the k-probes, plus the addition of a Bosch knock sensor to be fitted tomorrow, as is the 4 four wire Toyota o2 sensor, lucky I have a spare engine, it currently runs from the lm1 via the analogue out, as the single wire finally died on Saturday.

I will post the logs hopefully tomorrow night.
