if suspension arms don't have left and righ handed adjuster you wont be able to adjust them when installed in vehicle..which is a must.not that i have ever used them.. wink:

good point DJ.....should have thought of asking about that. The kart has left and right hand threads on the steering arms for on-kart adjustability of toe-in/toe-out. Will ask the question when I see my man tomorrow.

I used left threaded inserts to the hub bracket and right threaded ends to the subframe allowing arms to be rotated in place.

also sleeved them 60mm with four cutouts for weld, either side very strong

glad to be of service ..

ps glad to see you are using McPherson not ss will work just aswell. make sure to change the pickup points for height changes front and back thus allowing correction to roll.

WOW  Looking good. 8)
Is the reason for mounting the fuel tank forward of the rear axle to do with weight distribution?

Yes, the MSA regs for the Dunlop/Motorsport News series mean we cant cut out the boot floor or spare wheel well.

The WRC cars had a boot mounted fuel tank but for circuit racing mounting the fuel tank in front of the rear axle reduces the polar moment of inertia and keeps the weight low as well.

ts also better to keep the fuel tank away from the back of the car in case someone punts me up the aris.

I may have missed the post but is the road course type build or a rally car?

Rene, the plan is to go for an endurance of approx 30 minutes say, around the Silverstone GP track at race pace. We think that will translate into a tank capacity of ~45 litres.
