He probably went to sleep after he turned it over.
"right, engine starts, once around the block, grab a shower and hit the sack for work tomorrow.."

Hi folks,

thanks a lot for all that wishes 8)
buuuuuut......we where not able to set the ignition without a ignition timing pistol,
missed to mount the engine - wire on the backsinde of the intake manifold, the hell no space ~1h of work
we used the haltech connectors without loom in them, a pain of work
we found that the cam and crank position wiring is not the same as on the plan and on all haltech ecu's, we was in need to
change the pins against each other
and at least we found that the ignition pistol has a brocken light

the pheonix is still fighting with the ashes, hope for a activation the next few weeks
da*n, i want to hear the engine sound, and drive them

Don, the cops are working, but with the cam and crank issue we had a lot adjustment to do, but one running i'am glad to gave you
all information, possible it is easier if i sent you the total mapping for all informations....once running

This is just the sort of real-life info that is invaluable so I shall wish you good luck with sorting out the details soon. I should get my COP kit in the next week or so then we need to work out how to splice it into the new loom!

Hi Don,

do you use the oem wirring tree or a custom one?

a further problem was to get a signalt to the oem rpm cluster, i decided to use that wiring included to a male and female connector
(used all four cops)

Image

but currently i'am not sure about it works

I'm guessing your information is running in wasted spark mode even though you have individual COP ? (i.e. cop 1 & 4 fed together and 2 & 3)

The standard rev counter will expect 1 pulse per spark, so if running individual spark drives you would need a diode from each COP feed.

Hi,

that was also my thinking,
i connected all four cops to diods and then to the zener, i just hope it works :)
