The inverted monotubes (RM series) are the better option

If you want soft and firm coilover at the same time, that's the one to choose.

A bumpy car on the road is something really dangerous.

Even on track the inverted monotube are sometimes better, i think myself gettings some of these instead of my "race version" D2

they are still pretty cheap tbh, fingers crossed you get some good service life for what little you pay for with the BC units.

My DMS Gold 40mm inverted monotubes cost 3 - 4 time that of the BC entry level kit! They ride nice. or they did last time i used the car a while back

I'm actually considering swapping out the TEINs I have on my track 185 and going for the BC inverted monotubes (RM series).

Why Nigel - I am intrigued on what you have found wrong with the Teins?

If you don't like the Teins let me know ;-)

supplies and spares for bc coilovers are very very cheap, so no matter if you give them a hard time, I have a dealer spreadsheet that details the spares prices and it reads better than teins

Would you mind providing some info Mr TGT?
Items of interest would be...
1) Top mount bearing
2) rebuild/re-valve or replacement insert?

Not sure if they will just supply seals and bits & bobs for a Uk based company to rebuild? May be a major benefit if they have full back-up support.

Hey Mr Diceman
im not on the work laptop so can't do that right now, however I can confirm you can buy a top mount bearing, you can also buy a full new strut insert for about £80, so no need with rebuilds etc. Tein are £250 per strut to rebuild minimum.

I was having a chat with James last Saturday about the BC's.
If you're considering them then TGT can supply and fit at very reasonable price

They seem fine on my cs, rebound damping is weak, when I get mine rebuilt ( when they wear ) I will deffo have firmer rebound to match the compression.

For a good way of replacing worn out stock suspension the price for the quality is very good imo.
