I have now got these OZ SuprT's for the 205 but i am not sure if i can fit them with the nuts i have.

They are the right shape (conical, not flat or ballshaped) but the nuts that were on my old wheels are not wide enough to completely cover the surface area.

The wheel cone measures 16mm at the thin end and 22mm at the wide end

The nut cone measures 14mm at the thin end and 20 to 24mm at the wide end (depending on the cross section you take.

This means the contact between nut and wheel is only between 4mm and 8mm. Is this right? is this enough? Do I need new wheel nuts before I can fit these wheels?

The wheels have already been balanced so I should be able to shove them straight on, yes?

TIA

There was a post about this from Ian at Toyauto about a week ago on the Oh Cee. Worth a quick search.

Cheers Don. I found the thread I think you are talking about but it was refering to the stock nuts and i need to know if the stock nuts are suitable for non-stock wheels.

I've thought of an easier way. I'll bring one of the wheels tomorrow and I can show you what I mean

Paul, when I bought my OZ Crono Evo's from Motorsport Wheels they supplied the correct nuts. I'm 99.99% sure the stock nuts will NOT be the correct fitting. They certainly didn't fit my OZ's. I'll bring my OZ and stock nuts along tomorrow so you can see/measure the difference.

Cheers,
