Well i ought to add details of my car really - a few might have read about it on my thread on the OC. Its been in UK since october 03 and has had 2 owners in UK-both OC members. Its had thousands spent on maintenance and is in pristine condition and has only 60'000 miles on her. Its got the optional full Recaro interior and chrome "celica" door sills and twin air bags. Has Blitz Nur spec R system and aussie DP and a Blitz SUS induction kit. Also has a genuine Veilside bodykit on it-not to my tastes and also has standard bumpers so swapping asap-but keeping skirts as they are nice. However i have been accumulating parts over the last 2 years and have a massive spec list for her. Here is a list of the mods i have in my garage/storage room and will be getting fitted asap. However still some bits on he way as i write this CHASSIS Tein SS coilovers with EDFC unit Cusco 4pt lower front brace J-speed 3 pt upper front brace J-speed 3 pt rear brace J-speed fender braces C-one trunk brace Aerospeed transmission tunnel brace K-sport 6 pot/330mm rear brake upgrade kit Tarox 10 pot/340mm front brake upgrade kit HEL stainless brake lines Revolution millenium gold alloys with 235/40x18 Toyo R888 tyres & Buddy club lightweight wheel nuts(track wheels) Volk 17 " lightweight road wheels with 225 /45 x 17 Falken 452 tyres Whiteline rear ARB Alloy adjustable drop links F & R Pollybush kit INTERIOR Bride Gias carbon bucket seats Momo suede flat bottom wheel Momo carbon handbrake cover Momo gearknob/handbrake leather gaitors Razo alloy pedals Flocked dash & centre console Red suede headlining Luke 3" 5pt racing harness x2 carbon rear view mirror red wool carpeting alloy passenger foot rest ENGINE C-one exhaust system-front pipe back & 80mm system C-one low temp stat C-one rad cooling panel C-one rad cap C-one style undertray Koyo alloy rad Samco rad hoses Mocal engine oil cooler and relocation kit with aerospace fittings & braided lines Mocal gearbox oil cooler and kit with aerospace fittings & braided lines HKS valve springs HKS SSQV dump valve HKS 1.6 mm HG HKS exhaust manifold HKS 264 cams HKS kevlar cam belt HKS cam gears HKS 2200cc stroker kit-forged crank/rods & bearings Wolfkatz 1000cc injectors & rail Bosch 044 pump SARD type RJ FPR SARD fuel collector kit & 265 lph internal pump 255 lph in tank pump Full braided lines and aerospace fittings for fuel system Custom FMIC kit and pipework Garret GT3076 turbo kit with ext wastegate/screamer pipe and custom 3" DP Ferrea 1mm OS exhaust/intake valves 2x Spal slimline fans Phenolic intake manifold gasket Billet alloy 80mm TB - side feed manifold Motec M4 Pro ECU-launch control/anti lag/data logging Custom straight intake and filter Battery relocation kit with carbon battery box Aquamist 1S water injection system & 5L alloy WI tank TRANSMISSION Ikeya sequential shift kit & display unit Clutchmaster FX600 competition clutch upgraded gear linkage bushes EXTERIOR Projector lights Clear fronts Clear sides Clear rear high level brake light Carbon bonnet Carbo tailgate Carbon rear number plate surround Carbon WRC wing & raiser blocks Carbon APR mirrors on custom base plates Carbon lower front splitter Carbon TRD style rear spats Carbon TRD skirts Alloy flush fit fuel filler cap PIAA carbon wipers PIAA horn PIAA LED side light bulbs HID kits-inner & outer lights PIAA angel eye fog lamp kit FG doors OMP roll cage Just need a digital dash and everything is here |

I love that colour john. Strangely the gold wheels also seem to really set it off - normally I would avoid gold but works well. Car looks sooooooo much better than when you bought it. Was this the first St205 you had for an age or did you sell that one and purchase this one? Oh BTW - the idiot waving at lex205 in a bmw early morning last week was me! |

Can't understand what is it for... as it is not going to strenghten the body with that shape and in that low position... Is it just to fix sport multi-point belts? |

You see the problem is its the mountings of such a thing that define whether or not it will work. In this instance, bolts perpendicular to the plane they're trying to stiffen, hence subject to tension/compression. Really you want them to be in shear. Much harder to shear a bolt than stretch it. |
