IMO a Power Distribution Module (PDM) is really only worth doing if you are building a new loom for your car. I'm using one in my track toy build because it means I can ditch all the fuses and relays. There is a bit of a weight saving if you go for CAN bus. You can hook a laptop up to diagnose faults or, if you are really keen, monitor on the dash in real time. They aren't cheap but I've convinced myself its worthwhile fitting.

Thats what i was thinking - would tidy up the engine bay and get rid of a lot of stuff ill not be needing - aircon wiring , electric mirrors ect.
Which one would you recommend going for?
Whats this CAN bus?
I have a Motec dash unit so i suppose that could show up faults ect?

The PDM15 would be fine for your car I would think. You could hook it up to your MoTeC dash via CAN bus (its a bit like an ethernet cable for data comms)

Also decided on a alloy incar fuel cell after the issues with Erins and being 16 years old id like it to be as good as possible and save any future messing around with replacing tank ect.
Anyone got any recommendations o any?

IMO the ATL type of bag tanks are overkill for a fast road / occasional track car and super expensive. A more cost-effective solution would be to get a tank fabricated. This is what I've had done. Bob Hall at Concept Racing (http://www.conceptracing.co.uk) has done a fair bit of alloy fabrication on my Four.

That coolant header tank is likely to run half full even if you manage to mount it at the highest point on the bulkhead. Not sure that would work there and there may not be sufficient tank volume left for the coolant expansion. Your location options are very limited on the ST205. Fensport (Tony) mounted their expansion tank on the inside of the drivers wing above the engine mount. This makes it easy to plumb in to the water hose between the bottom of the tank and the thermostat housing on the block.

Header tank & swirl pot should be here in next few days , fuel tank will be when rent is here and twin filter set up next month.
Also managed to find a ex display MSD 6AL ignition amp and new high capacity coil for total of £120 - should be £600 so well chuffed

All i need now once i have the other bits just mentioned is the Motec PDM15 and some subframes for my seats.
Bits n bobs like flocking interior trim will be done but its not as though its urgent - will be last thing to do.
