Hi all

I have an aussie 3" downpipe fitted which is mated to an awful bodged 'custom' exhaust system which came with the car when i bought it.

I was looking at getting a mongoose system from fensport as it seems to be quite a resonable price and good quality.

My question is will it fit straight onto the aussie or will some welding be required?

The Mongoose system is a good system and would attach to the Aussie 3" downpipe you have but you will need a restrictor, between the aussie decat pipe and Mongoose flexi section, as the Mongoose system is only a 2.5" system.

Also with the Mongoose, paint the exhaust flanges with heat resistant paint before fitting as the flanges arnt stainless steel and rust over time, giving them a good coat of paint extends their life a bit more.

be a little careful making the restrictor as some front pipes have a flange that makes a restrictor a real bugger to make !"
