Hi,

try different settings and test it, and when you feel it alright then you have the "best" setup for you and your car :)

I tried several camber but every time i mod my drivetrain i go back to 2°30 (2,5°) front and 0°30 to 1° rear

TOE @ 0 front and rear

car is very predictable with a very very little understeer.

Be aware on your D2 coilover that left and rigth need the same setting at the hub

thanks for thast, i did have to move 1 of them last time i had the tracking and camber set up to stop as the 1 was way out.

took me and alwayz at least 8 events of tss to dial in camber settings.. Photos of your car in turns can be a big help ;)

What about anti-roll bars? Standard?

If you asked for my setup :
D2 coilover fully modded (only bottom end is original D2 product :oops:)
9.8kg front (735kg), 7.2kg rear (425kg),
poly or alloy bush all arround,
rear whiteline 20mm on hard, front OEM 27mm (would like a 26mm to try),
custom rear adjustable topmount 2D (for camber with 205 drivetrain), custom front adjustable 3D topmount (for caster and camber of the wilder track),
front height 125mm (jack point), rear height 132mm (jack point too),
3°29 (3,5°) front caster, ~18° front pivot angle, ...

Attempt a bump steer correction, better but not perfect, need to take care of hackerman angle too.

Merlin, how did you attempt to fix your bump steer? We found the mr2 and gtfour tierod ends are the same shaft sizes. Due to this information, I picked up a flip kit to drill out my spindles. I will post more reviews once I install it, I am trying to assemble my brake parts first.

Also, I think some found the ae86 tie rod end fits the 185 tierods. There are plenty of aftermarket extended tierods for the ae86. I am hoping the flip kit resolves my bump steer. If not, I will be look into adding the extended tie rod end as well.

It's a custom flip kit, i will take pics of it, i don't drill my spindle just make part to fit to reverse the MOD in case it doesn't work.
But a flip kit is not the solution.

I want a TOE in effect while braking or on outside wheel when turning, flip kit do that but too much, we need to take a look at the lower ball join thing, and without that a flip kit is lying yourself as it become dangerous after 80mph

So you mean a roll center adjuster in place of the ball joint? I was looking into this, but I do not know of a simple solution. I am afraid to get a roll adjuster, your going to need to use a custom ball joint as well.

Does anyone know if there is an off the shelf roll center adjuster for the st185? I was looking at the 2006+ civic RCA. Its a similar design to our ball joint. I might stop at the dealer and compare dimensions with the honda part. If there is nothing ready made, I will have to have something made.

my car uses:
front 3 degree camber 1 degree toe out
rear 2 degree camber 0 toe

thats a 100% track only setup.

for the occasional track day I run 2.5 camber front + rear and parralel wheels all round

An uprated rear anti roll bar would really be worth considering as you are doing more motorsport
