So you still have the RC.. Show me more!

165 looks awesome as well haha! I'd check the AP caliper brackets again though as it seems the calipers are not aligned correctly when looking at the bell-caliper clearance. Paul contacted me before he ordered it, as this set is based on 'my' kit, only for smaller wheels.

I'm currently doing some work on my CS as well, love to see this kind of work! So inspiring lol! 8)

I have followed your site for a while and saw the AP conversion a couple of years ago ... I did have some challenges with making sure the brackets were aligned correctly but these pictures were taken before I had got it all sorted ... The disks, brackets and calipers mount correctly now and with the wheels fitted there is probably no more than 1-2 mm of clearance so a good job was done by Paul and AP in sizing them for the ST165 and Roulette combination ... Of course this was based on your original R&D which I thank you for ...

I really hope to get the ST165 finished this year at least as a runner which I can drive ... It is great spending time on it given its exceptional condition and it is like therapy too !

Martin

Hi Martin, its great to see someone like yourself take on the ex-Wiggy 165 as a project. It couldn't be in better hands. Look forward to any updates you have as the restoration/improvement continues. Better still will be to see it running at a show/meet one day!

Hi Don,

Good to hear from you - been a long time ...

I want to get the car running initially with the intention of doing some drift days at oulton park and then will see which direction I go with it ...

I expect to attend some meets at least in future with it - Rally Day maybe next year ...

Martin

That's a brilliant write up, thanks for posting.

Ironically, i'm at pretty much the same stage on my 165 (your old one in fact) so the pictures are of a great help.

Keep it up!

Mark

Hey Mark,

Great stuff, I remember I had some work done on the passenger floor (due to sunroof leak) and the normal sill repairs - which were done very well by a local panel beater who made the sill panel sections ... He couldn't do too much with the rear arches but apart from that I thought the car was great :-)

Any details of your progress ?

Martin
