Just a quick update for you.

Got a text the other day saying it's all done. MOT pass and everything.He's polished it up for me and cleaned it out. I'm well chuffed. Had a quick drive down the road and despite the lowered suspension it drives surprisingly comfy.

I'll insure it maybe next week and tax it in January. Happy days.

Pics, now with Freakyproduct spacers fitted. Still got to fit spotlights.

I think there is a growing appreciation for the ST165 also and it makes them worth restoring if you have a sound basis to work from ...

Couldn't agree more Martin. Shame that there seem to be so few ST165's in a fit state to restore :(

Martin,

I've (provisionally) got a Nurburgring trip booked for the end of June, once i've fixed a multitude of problems.

I'd rather take the 165 than the wifes S2000 for nostalgic purposes.

Do you have any pics of it going round the ring? Be great to see them if you have.

Nice looking car mate I would love a st165, Saw one on ebay not so long ago but I just couldnt give the money they wanted for the car it need so much work to restore it
