Will a Garrett 3071 and tial wastegate fit with a c-one tubular manifold with the standard fans and radiator?

This is something I'd like to do when the new turbo / injectors get fitted :)

Thanks 8)

You'll need replacement fans...

Cheers guys. I'm using a standard rad so what are recommended? Maybe 12" spal push fans? I've removed the aircon.

Are there any recommended Spal(like) fans that don't cost £80 each?

Thanks guys

You get what you pay for in my experience. Buy cheap, buy again when your engine starts overheating in traffic.

I would go for, indeed went for, 2 x 12" SPAL puller fans.
(you need to consider the CFM rating on the fans)
That was with a Koyo rad.

Pusher fans will restrict (to a certain extent) the natural air flow through the radiator = not good.

The following is from the Discounts thread/section:
Quote:
If you are in need of radiator fans - they don't come much better than Spal fans.
So, I am very happy to confirm and announce that GT4 Drivers Club members will get a 'best price' gaurantee on any Spal fans by contacting Alan at Fereday Cars http://www.feredaycars.co.uk/.

We've just fitted a TB developments 3071 externally gated kit on my friends Celica.

We've fitted a Koyo rad to it which is a fair bit thicker than the oe one. We couldn't refit the stock main fan with the larger rad but we have rewired the air con fan as the main one and this is re-fitted. The rad holds about 2 litres or more water than the stock one. We've plumbed in a water temp gauge so we'll see how this copes before ordering any alternative fans.

It's a really tight fit and we had to completely re-route the front mount intercooler kit.

Thanks Admin,

I was going to change it to URL. Is there any reason I can't get the [img] tags to work? Is that down to post count or something, I can see it works for some people? BB code is set to on at my end.

Thanks
Nito

You need to use a photo hosting service like Photobucket to be able to then insert images as an <IMG>.
