im seriously considering installing a davies pump into my forged engine build and was wondering if anyone else has fitted 1 of these, and which size would you recommend there are 2 choices 80lpm or 115 lpm i think the 115 is the better choice advantages of fitting 1. remove stat, 2.controller will control speed of pump & fans ramps up and down as needed 3.will have a 2 minute run on once engine is turned off 4.impellor removed off pump release a few more bhp (less drag) 5.they reckon you can get away with a smaller rad what do you reckon ? |

ater reading up ive decided to buy same as you nige - the alloy one anything to provide better cooling is good in my book

how are u going to get it fitted theres not a lot of space in bay, if i do get the pump my option will be remove ac pump and other bits, get a buddy of mine to custom make me a rad, which sits virtually where condenser used to be, freeing up space in bay will have the rad built so tanks are on sides, with a swirl pot and header tank installed, this is the best way i can think of doing it and will hopefully prolong the life of engine and reduce any hotspots |

Will my motec control the pump or will i need the controller ?? |

the motec can control pump, but reading up the controller is a better option, as the way i read the instructions the pump will speed up slow down as required using the controller, controller also controls the rad fans and once turned off will enable pump to run for 2 mins or until the temp is 5 Oc below set point |
