What fuel management system do you have?

I'd start with a metal head gasket + ARP's and freshening up the engine in general, making sure it's healthy.

there is a couple of aftermarket ECU's on eBay at the moment, both at £300 a Mines and Blitz one for early GT4's might be worth looking at?

Are headgaskets an issue on st185's?

At what point should one upgrade the headgasket on a s205 to a metal type?

Im running 1.15bar on a stock 205 engine. Am i pushing my luck with the standard headhasket or does the 205 engine take abuse better?

no you be ok with a 205 engine as the head gasket is all ready metal. the stock engine will run 350bhp pritty easy as long as it is maped right and has supporting mods. i know of lots of 205 runing 300-350bhp in stock engine :)
