Hi Pagey!

Some interesting parts you have there!

Not seen a gauge holder like that before, did you make it?

Which turbo did you go for?

Unusual mounting for the external wastegate - is that on an adaptor plate or part of the exhaust manifold?

:D

Welcome Stuart, I love your description 'slightly' modified   from your photos it looks like you have a serious bit of kit there! As others have already asked for your spec I await the details with great interest.

Very nice spec'd car.

Kris, if you mean the 3 gauge and single gauge pods on the dash they're made by Ray at RTPerformance.

Project blow up

Garrett GT3071R turbocharger
Compressor housing 4” anti-surge ported
Exhaust housing 0.63ar
Tial external wastegate
Custom fabricated down pipe incorporating the screamer pipe recirculating back down the down pipe
Koyo radiator
Samco Hoses
Toyo FMIC rated to 500bhp
Viper Performance custom fitted hard pipe kit for FMIC (that was hard fitting that lot)
Titanium wrapped down pipe and intercooler piping

Battery relocated to boot
HKS EVC boost controller
DEFI EGT
DEFI BF Oil Pressure
DEFI BF Oil Temperature

HiSpec 360mm Monster racing brake kit including floating bells and 6 pot callipers
Performance friction pads
Performance friction brake fluid
Interior striped out
Seats by Corbeau type Sprint
Nicky Grist 6point race harnesses
TRD Quick shift gear selector
255 litre per minute fuel pump
Tein suspension including springs
Cusco strut brace

Items not shown / awaiting fitting

AEM wide band UEGO
Link G4 ECU (Nito sport map if I can talk into mapping it with me!! (GT4DC member)
OMP roll cage (however after buying I’m thinking of a custom made one now)
Enkei EDR9 alloy wheels 18’s
Tyres 595rsr 225 x 40 r18 by Federal
FIA Rain light
FIA engine stop
FIA tow hook (for when I smash into the tyre barriers)
OMP 350mm Corsica Superleggero steering wheel
OMP Quick release steering boss

Wish list

Dog encage gearbox
Ikeya Evo 5 speed sequential gear shift system

For the time being I’m running standard internals and plan to keep increasing power until failure. In the meantime I have a spear cylinder head which I am slowly rebuilding starting with sending to CNC heads for a complete rework followed by a HKS cam shafts, springs, valves, follows bla la bla.

The way I see it a fully forged engine is inevitable but I’m going to wait until engine failure before commencing full rebuild

I’m aiming for a reliable track / race car producing 400bhp with a very steady power and torque curve. I’m planning to race it in the Nippon Challenge this year.

Big thanks to Nito for letting me use his immaculate garage where the car has lived for the last year following turbo failure on our first ever track day. (1.3bar of boost on a standard turbo is too much for those wanting to know turbo failure boundaries) It made a lovely sound as the exhaust blades broke up and shot down the exhaust 

Hi Kris,

It’s an adaptor plate supplied by TB Developments which I must say was some piece of kit the custom fabrication was excellent would highly recommend.

The gauge holder to the centre console has been made by myself using the standard one and infilling the air vents and redundant stereo aperture then wrapping in 3M carbon wrap. The other pods were brought from RT Performance.

Mr Stuart,

Don't forget the Impreza roof scoop and sunroof removal on your list of mods lol!!

Don't encourage him tracktoyfour lol, he's intent on blowing his engine up just to give him the excuse to go internal!! Hopefully that wont happen, still it should be fun, we'll be doing it methodically with all the gauges it's got fitted.

Nito

yes i do ha ha. put some pictures up of it when you get it installed / working would be interrested to know how you get on with it. Your roll cage is now sat nicely in the corner of my unit collecting dust. Now i know what you mean - taking the dash out seems to much like hard work think i'm going to get someone to do it for me.
