I was thinking the same....might aswell make things as easy as possible anyway, as ya said prob pay as much extra for a CS/RC than you would putting in FMIC or charge cooler on a standard st185...

I have far better idea of where i'm going now lads....

Any more suggestions ona car to start from, preferably a red CS/RC welcome!!

Lol, know what you mean, the Hyundai "thing" looks very similar to a 205!

I know some will hate me for saying this but wouldn't it be a lot easier to just buy an ST205 which has everything you need? I've probably done more track days than I've had hot dinners in both stock and modified spec so I have the T shirt

LOL

Maybe he has Taste and style and doesn't really want the model people think came from HyUndRi

I would avoid the first one...why?

...engine drives perfect with great pull...Everything works as it should. As stated it needs a few wee things to sort the engine being an exhaust manifold gasket and there’s a water pipe leaking behind the turbo.
I doubt it runs perfect if there's a leek at the exhaust manifold.
Chances are the exhaust manifold is warped and will need a scim.
Also the water leek behind the turbo doesn't sound good - hose from hell?

Second one would be worth a punt at that money - looks on the face of it as a bargain...even tempted mysef BUT what's it like underneath - has the dreaded rust go to it?

Id suggest you now sort intercooling if your running the std top mount :) and fit a front mount to drop intake temperatures. You should then see a nice increase in power just with that.

Its not that it will probably make more power its that yours probably makes more but only once then heat soaks and then timing is backed off and all the power goes.. With better intercooler you have all the power all the time...
