Ok, thanks anywho Sirius.

Cheers for the ideas Chris, think I'll get in touch with someone who can weld aluminium and stick a new top with pressure cap on, as you said, got to be the best long term fix.

Another big thanks to Chris! Finally got rid of my power steering leak! Also got the fuel pressure regulator fitted.

Managed to get the header tank pressure relief sorted on friday with my local mechanic. Best bit being it works!! So hopefully no more blown hoses/radiators lol.

Still have an interesting problem with the Speedo where it's reading about 1/3 "out". Think it maybe as I now have a 185 box so changed the sensor with my old 205 box but still the same thing.

Was booked in for a mapping session tomorrow morning however Ryan is stuck in Denmark lol. So will be wednesday morning now.

The Fuel pressure regulator kit came with some very shiny attachments which didn't fit the 3s fuel rail, no correct attachment for the fuel rail, hose too short and no instructions.

Thanksully, I still had the banjo fitting from my old adjustable FPR that I ditched. Using that plus the old return pipe allowed it to fit - just. The pipe length didn't allow it to reach anywhere to bolt it on properly so for now it's cable tied to the strut brace, along with the unused bits which were so shiny they just had to be put under the bonnet to look important.

Well, mapping this morning went well. Ryan got it all setup, set the fuel pressure regulator to 45psi and started mapping. I now have the option of boost controller off, so 0.7,0.9bar ish which is a little shy of 300 for pottering about. Low boost at 1.1bar which was about 320 for spirited driving. Then Hi set at 1.3bar which is the 345 as below.

I was advised not to do a high speed run i.e. 4th and 5th gear in hi boost as it will put too much stress on the block, rings etc. So keep it more for the odd bit of extra power in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
He also said if I was chasing numbers I could push it a bit more (the injectors are maxed out at 345bhp/ 45psi) but said the standard wiring is not great and of course will put even more wear on the pump itself. Given it's my daily driver we left it as is.

Again, many thanks to Chris, as without his help the car certainly wouldn't be at this point now :)

Thanks for sharing your experiences and dyno traces. Also, sounds like you got some very sensible advice from Ryan at the mapping session.
