Hi evrybody!
Below please let me introduce my ST165 project, which i am preparing to local rally race events.
I buy this car few years ago, and it was already rally car with rollcage and other equipment.
Image

I plane to start rallying on this and after studing "how to drive on gravo", change to EVO or Subaru.
Image

Image
Frendly speaking, in that time i does not know nothing about celica and 3S-GTE and other sides of this amazing car-family with greate rallying history.

Image
Image

After few race and trainings engine is broken, and it was time to make choise - i start learning about next car.

Image

When one of my friend buy rally EVO 6, which was prepared in Japan, and i see real differece betwin body-shell EVO and Celica i was realy impressed quality of old celica body.
My choise - rebuild celica, give to her another racing life.
"racing is life, no matter what happend before or after - just waiting"

Image

Lets begin:
Real situation before rebuild:
Standart body-shell with low quality rollcage.
Standart engine and transmission (st185)
Standart ECU
standart rear diff (free)
hand made front dumpers
standart rear dumpers + additional dumpers "plaza sport"

We use carbon 2 disc's, w/o any dampers type (if you need exact model - i can't remind and need to go to garage, also please see photos). Hard but very strong for distruction, and lighter then original.

Hope after short time my baby should look like -

So you are going to use 87 mm pistons in that configuration? Brave man! :D

Good luck building that beast, looks awesome in action!
