need advice have been told that fitting a fmic means less cool air to your rad meaning the engine will run hotter and as its the intercooler is moved to sit infront of the turbo it will be hotter to as the cat and turbo are next to each other and need t run at 500 centergrade to work

bet the cars that had intercoolers on the front had the cat under the car the way it works is cold air is thicker and carrys more oxigen than hot air the more air you get into the engine the better so the air is cooled there for making it thicker and then it goes to the turbo forcing it into the engine fitting it to the front by the cat means it will steal the cool air going to the rad as its fitted infront of it and the oil cooler making the engine run hot then the cool air going to the turbo will be warmer as its got to run by the cat and the intercooler wont be as efishant as its got to work harder this is what ive been told

by jesus that was hard to read with no comma or full stop! haha

FMIC are great, i run mid 300's and give it some serious abuse on track, my fmic is the same size as the radiator nearly and ive never had a problem.

My brothers is over 400bhp, same again, no problems.

Yes of course it will slow the passing air to the radiator but not by enough to kill the car.

As for the turbo and cat warming up the fmic, thats tat mate, the charge coolers pre rad is exactly where you would put a fmic.

FMIC > ST205 Charge cooler everyday other than in looks. :)

ah right, but the st205 cc was the most efficient of all the gtfour coolers. :)

the 185's interwarmer was about as useful as not having one on a hot day, the cs had a decent enough cc and the st205 made the cc better.

But in its location the cc will never be good enough.

All big power sustained boost cars run front mounts, they just work to be honest
