Thanks for all the welcome backs, nice to know I have not been forgotten.

How could anyone forget you

Oh, welcome back. Your old gas burner is still going strong by the way, been doing some serious miles the last couple of years :)

Now running fairly well on gas after a lot of tweeking. Next step is to stick my link ECU in with dual map to try to gain a bit more.

Thought any more about using the CC heat to vaporise the gas and get cooler charge? You won't sleep tonight now ;-)

Get french registration of a 205, even UKDM, will not be that easy. You have to get a partial COC from Toyota France, then go to DREAL and see how they ant to boring you (pending people, motivation, your face, ...)
Perhaps UTAC test for braking (500€+), changing head light, check mirror viewing ...

It's doable but not as easy as a NA SW20 UKDM

CT (MOT) is not an issue, if VIN is the same as paper they don't care RHD or LHD
They don't mind a 3SGTE in a 182/202 as it's petrol for both, but they don't like 202 registration on a 4WD.

If you now speak french fluently we can phone if you need, my english is a bit rusty at the moment (too long since last Colin visit)

Hey thanks for the info Bozo. Where are you in France? I am in 16390.

I have only been here a year and most of that's been in the house working so my French is still very limited at the moment but I am trying!

I have a friend with a crew cab Vivaro that he's trying to get registered, that's proving time consuming and frustrating. I also know of people trying to get motor homes registered that costs them plenty and takes forever.

I was expecting up to €1000 to get it registered, do you think this is realistic?

Any one know if the projectors have a flat beam? I am sure they do.

Oh, and who's Colin?

I am in 62400, a lot norther than you

1000€ is and is not realistic pending DREAL advice on the car (they do as they want because there is no full COC for it), it could be 400 or 2000.

Some manage to register non EUDM car so there is nothing impossible, but as you say, money and time consuming

No flat beam on SS3 but Wolf TM mod them to be flat (or LHD), do a little search

Great find thanks. A bit more to it than I thought, especially regarding the wiring.
