as above...my st185 has a full ss auzzie down pipe hks induction fcd forge acctuator and stage3 hybrid turbo...0.9bar it made 266bhp 257ftlb...id like to turn up to 1bar?? or will i need a fmic?? the engine has been rebuilt useing toyota parts upgraded metal head gasket....id just like alittle more punch lol :D

1 bar is about as far as id push i tbh..

Im running 0.9bar and making 300hp and just under 300ftlb on a hybrid only difference to mine is running a front mount so if your still running a top mount a/a intercooler sort that first as it will DET like mad...

Is it a top mount air-air intercooler or a water type as fitted to the CS & RC variants ?

If it's air-air I would fit a FMIC even for the power you are running currently. (FMIC is probably easier than fitting a cs/rc setup)
The water type are pretty much as good as the ST205 ones and should handle up to the limit of the 440cc injectors.

yes im still running the top mount air to air...i thought id have to go with fmic soon....are there kits that are made for 185s or is there always a amount of cutting drilling and bending lol?? thanks for replys

There's nothing available off the shelf specific to an ST185 but there's a heap of information available on here if you do a search :)
