Is it just me or is the job of changing the oil pressure sender on a 205 JDM a real pain in the butt? I want to fit an extension hose so I can drive a pressure gauge whilst retaining the original sender to the idiot light. At first glance the jobs a good un- undo the charge cooler, tilt it to afford more room and away you go. Unfortunately though it hasn't quite panned out like that due to the lack of access. A large bracket obscures the frontal route meaning that all attempts with spanners, moleys etc are thwarted, so I initially reckoned that a tall socket would do it. However that plan was stymied by the suspension turret and the aforementioned bracket. I even considered removing the bracket but that's also a non-starter; one bolts ultra tight and the other two are really inaccessible.
From reading through the forums i see that many people have accomplished this mod so, at the risk of looking a complete front bottom could someone give me an idea of what I'm missing? thanks.

Can you explain how the suspension turret is in the way?
The suspension is nowhere near the oil pressure sensor.
