Been looking at more things for my imaginary st205 and wanted to know what boost controllers are alright to install? Again saw a few cheap ones and as I like a bargain I thought about getting one of those....
Can they really go wrong? All they do is measure boost pressure and control a valve right?

You wanting manual or electronic?

Greddy do b spec at a price, apparently a good choice .
My mates got a gizzmo which is good and alot cheaper.
I have aem tru boost which is gauge and controller and I think it's a great controller.

It depends what you want the boost controller to do really. I'm assuming you want to fit one so you can adjust the boost and its not just for the gauge :lol:

The type and number of solenoids will determine how well the controller manages the turbo. Some controllers allow you to limit the duty (boost) by rpm and this is a useful feature from personal experience.
