what is the main gain from fitting a turbo down front pipe decat?? ie auzzi ect.... of course better flow but is it more bhp or ft/lb??? and do these engines suffer boost creep??? i had a mitsubishi evo III before and it was a nice bunch of torque that it gained but did also suffer boost creep.... what extra has been seen?? 10+bhp??

Typically an improvement in both but you need to up the boost pressure to see the best results.

Downpipes can often result in boost creep this can sometimes be solved by porting the wastegate or getting a turbo with a different design of wastegate, porting is not really a DIY job.

You can also fit a restrictor ring but that is quite a compromised setup.

A bit louder, but a fair bit 'deeper' sound.
I found my CS to suffer from creep mostly with lower temps. A restrictor is easily made by using a piece of sheet metal with a small opening in it as a gasket.

Another advantage is the loss of almost 10 kg and of course a bit more room in the engine bay.

My ST205 certainly ran richer with a 3" downpipe and front pipe feeding into a 2.5" Blitz Nur Spec R system. Even removing the rear baffle also affected the fuelling, probably due to the change in back pressure? I had a Dastek Unichip maxed out to remove fuel before I fitted a MoTeC M4 Pro to do the job properly.
