just fitted a cs bumper :D to my gt4 st185 with front mount intercooler :D when looking threw the top vent on the bumper i can see air would hit the bumper support bar ( crumple bar) will put pic on tomorrow but want to know if this is right or have i been dumb somewhere along the line :oops:

CS uses an aluminium bar, instead of the steel 'ATA' model which weighs as much as the moon. It is thinner and fits behind the CS bumper cover.

"Reinforcement #1" (52021-20210) is what you need.

already got that lol when u you look thru the bumper tho you can see it blocking the top vent of the bumper

That doesn't look like the genuine Toyota part. The mounting point are totally different and make the bar sit higher compared to the OEM bar, I think that's the problem.

looks to be mounted upside down. If you turn it around, then the reinforcement bar should be set inside the middle plastic and you will be able to mount your licence plate to it.
