I recently bid on an HKS EVC 5 Boost controller that was missing the stepper motor on t'internet and got it for a measly £50. I thought even though the stepper motor would be a pain to find, it was only 20% of what they tend to be. I then did a little reading and heard nothing but good things about the EVC 3 so bought one of them for cheap as chips. Its fitted now and seems to be working good, managing to hold boost right up the rev range at both 1.0 and 1.2 bar which Im pleased with as Ive got a 3" downpipe and system (no boost creep). The question is, what should I do with the EVC 5?? If I could find a stepper then I would get it but im really struggling to source one. any ideas?? cheers |

I had nothing but problems with my EVC5. I'd probably just stick it back on ebay and see if you can get some of your money back. |
