got some new headlights and they have built in side lights but dont know weather to connect them as indicators 2 be diffrent any ideas

I have never been keen on indicators close to other lights as they are hard to see flashing when the headlights are on.
I would hate someone to miss my intentions and have a coming together.
Are your thoughts to have them both in the headlight and the standard ones?
