It is yes and that would explain the use of garage tools. How is the car mechanically and what are your plans for it?

Mechanically the car is great. It has a stock jdm 1st gen in it that runs very strong. I've taken a lot of weight out of the car so that may be why it feels so fast.

In the spring time I'm going to tear the car apart, cage it, & throw a quick paint job. I'm planning on building the car for a local rally series we have in the US called Rally America. The class I'd like to compete in is called Open light. It's basically an all motor 4wd class with a displacement limit of 2.6liters.

I'm in the process of piecing together a 2azfe engine. It's a 2.4l vvti all aluminum motor out of a scion tc. I'm going to mate this motor to 205 running gear. The motor should be good for around 200hp which I'm guessing is close to what it has now with the 3sgte.

I rolled my fenders today, the paint cracked pretty good even with heating the paint up. That's 22 year old paint for ya. I ended up masking the car up and fogging in some color, wa-la good as new. I keep reminding myself that I'll be giving this thing an official paint job come spring time.
