Really interesting pictures.
The push fit connectors and white tubing - are they flowing fuel? I've never seen them used for that purpose before?

They're not connected to injectors that I can see, so I'm going to assume they're water injection? But WI requires nozzles of some sort as well. Yes I was talking about the block paint. Looks like a good coating! When you say unit, are you renting space to store and work on the car in? I only ask because I will have to do the same thing, which is one of the things which will drive up my project cost. It's very hard to find small factory unit space around here, they're all huge and far too expensive for what I need. |

I assume they are for the idle speed control valve. With ITBs you need a ISC air feed per cylinder between throttle plate and valve. |

I would have thought that ISC is only required on a road car? Most race engines don't feature this and of course getting them to idle can be a real nightmare

You have to have a balance pipe to measure the air temp and pressure for the ECU and you can add an ISC into the same manifold if you wish. The big f.o. valve I had assumed was an ISC but there is also other connections that will probably go off to the MAP sensor and MAT sensor. |

They are for idle speed control. You're right they aren't needed for a race car (will use it on the road a little)but I don't want it to be a complete pig to idle or without jacking the throttle open a little. The unit is rented off a farmer, there's plenty round my way to choose from. Some more expensive than others. Depending on how rural it is where u live, would go farm to farm as they are much cheaper than units in cities. For me it was cheaper to rent with five close mates as they have there own projects or just to store cars. |

Correct Diceman, the canister from the pipes in the picture is used for isc, map, wastegate and fpr. The iat will be mounted on the backplate of the plenum. |

Slight update. Engine is now sealed. Sump on crank trigger and wheel mounted and bottom alternator bracket made up. Been occupied with another toy (zx6r j2) so toymota has taken on abit of a back burner :/

Well bikes almost done. More slow progress on the car. Probably come to another stop for a year    Header tank is a little too short so will extend at a later date. Injectors fuel rail, Fpr, map, solenoid alternator, cooler takeoff, clutch and flywheel now is place.
