I wanted to ask what I could do that can still be managed by the cars ecu and won't over stress any other bits excessively
I am aware if I uprate head then I have so much freeplay in increasing the boost. As you are aware I'm not a mega mechanic.

If I were to run a fmic would it be bolt on per se and I could reset the ecu and continue driving.

What about a decat or straight down pipe can these just be bolted on.

What about both would I then have to set the four up to accommodate these?

I have an eye on a few bits that I want. Namely a bolt on fmic which requires no cutting and no battery relocation.

Thanks...

You'll be fine with a stock ecu and that level of mods provided the basic engine is running well at the moment

Off the top of my head, I would start with:
Air Intake (panel filter or Induction system)
Exhaust and decat (only caveat is that you may get boost creep fitting a decat pipe)
Decent Boost controller
Decent dump valve (Bailey DVxx?)
FMIC

All pretty much bolt on/wire up.
Boost controller would need setting correctly.

Then look at the following:
ST205 head conversion (port and polish) - talk to TGT about this (they've been there and done it).
(Optional oversize valves, uprated Camshafts,...)

Pretty much depends on your budget.
