My dashcam install. Purchased from Ebay - model DR32. I painted the rear of the mirror casing black using rubberised enamel so the camera does not contrast against the grey of the mirror. I also removed a shiny aluminium bezel which surrounded the lense.
Pretty much invisible from the outside of the car and does not impede at all on drivers field of view.
I hardwired it in to +ACC.
Holds approximately 6 hours of 30fps 1080p footage encoded in h.264 on a 32gb MicroSD, and uses a 130 degree fisheye lense.
