Cold air feed and oil cooler

That's a big oil cooler Ray! Do you have a thermostat control fitted? I think Mike found that even with that fitted to his smaller oil cooler rad the oil really struggled to get to normal operating temperature 50-70deg C

As above, you'll definitely need to cover that up in the winter, it will probably keep the oil very cool.

No problem with oil temps on track though!

yeah its a bit of an overkill and yeah it has a thermostat sandwich plate so it wont stay on.
Maybe I should get a smaller one so it fits better in that location but every where I look they only list the number of rows and not the actual size.

I can always make a cover for the lamp for winter if need be.

Even with a thermostat there is a little amount of oil that I suspect trickle past the stat and hence even with it fitted Mike struggled to maintain oil temps high enough in winter on a motorway run, if it was raining they were even cooler! Mike used a 33% free area galvanised metal perforated sheet over the face IIRC which helped to reduce airflow across the cooler and bring oil temps up for winter.

Looks pretty cool. Did you also make those lights? i've been thinking about doing similar with some S2000 projectors.

Yes made by crossing Dodge Neon lights with stock housing.
How about if I used this cooler and replaced the stock cooler?

My oil cooler setup has a massive 19 row cooler with mocal sandwich plate and to be honest I never seem to have any issues with overcooling, sits around 80c when on road and stays manageable on track, see how you get on and at worst you have to block some off during winter

Where have you mounted your cooler? If you're not over-cooling then I would guess its not getting as much air through it as Mike's location.

My cooler is directly in between the gearbox and PS cooler in front of my cc radiator, isnt yours there too mike?

Also have moved my numberplate to below headlight to improve airflow.

I'm just commenting on personal experience but don't seem to have any issues with overcooling.

Maybe im lucky!!

Mine was behind the upper hole in the bumper, perhaps the pressure is different there.
