i was thinking of these myself. Other option is bc range which is slightly more on price.
My friend has d2's on his starion and says they are fine. Basicly as good as bc.

Im guessing you want fast road/track by looking at these?

It's purely for road use, would they be too hard for everyday use? I just like the idea of the coilovers (shiny) and not much more expensive than stock when buying all 4

D2 are ok till you need spare parts then they are scrap

I am a dealer for both D2 and BC and I would buy BC all day, every day over D2

If you want comparative prices let me know, I also offer them welded and painted ready for fitment :-)

Martin, good to know you can do the welding etc. on BC's and D2's. That's always been one of the things thats put me off these struts. I have some old ST205 Superstruts which might help anybody thinking of fitting them and don't want their car off the road for too long.

to be fair my D2 setup has not let me down in the 5years of having them, and when I did think 1 of the shocks had played up the supplier sent me a replacement for free, D2 and K-spot and BC are all make in the same place just have a few different parts added to them

Yip I get all mine from the same supplier but always found BC coilovers easier to deal with, the brakes for example theres a minimum 4 weeks wait for some of them, last k sport brake set up I quoted for the wait was ridiculous thats why am going to redo my kit for the 185`s when I get a chance but trying to redo it without spacers, etc this time also with thicker discs ;-)

We also offer this service, although we re powdercoat to OEM specifications on these products.

we also offer a price matching service on all products to make sure we give the best and cheapest service around.

just for the record, D2, BC and Ksport are all made in the same factory in Taiwan and also come from the same main bulk import supplier in the uk.

Do you know if the spring rates and damper settings are identical on all of these Tim?

no they are made in the same factory but they are very slight differences between them all.

From what i can make out its a main factory doing the work but there made under licence for the different brand names, hence the slightly different designs and rates.

But if your a supplier for 1 your a supplier for all.

But i do like to stick with BC as i've had good success with them, and i can get what ever spring rate you require anyway in this setup
