What engine mounts do most use on the GT-Four? Seems the TRD mounts are now discontinued? Looking mainly at the front Engine/Gearbox mount. |

I used new standard ones except for the front one as I was able to source a TRD item. Various sources for poly out there as well. I experimented with this a few years ago - the vibration through the chassis was extreme I quickly removed them, not sure if those available now are any better. |

My Front TRD mount is coming to the end if it's useful life, 12 years old now. Vibrations I can do with out but mixer has said he can make up some softer poly bushes? Maybe a stock mount would suit my needs a little better, Any ideas on price for a new Toyota mount? |

No TRD left and stock mount is £77.11 + vat from Toyota. Decision time! |

Pawel gt4 Poland chap used to do the softer drilled out "turbo" mounts... They were poly, but not solid like mixer72's , they had voids in the material to offer more flex like OEM http://www.gt4-racing.eu/index.php/toyo ... ount-front NOW AVAILABLE IN TWO VERSIONS: - SPORT VERSION - hard - NORMAL VERSION - medium |

Cheers for the reply Gary. I have gone with a Mixer (BRD) Front engine mount in a slightly softer poly (60 Shore) so will report back with my findings. |

Having fitted a 60 Shore Front engine mount there is no additional vibration at idle or motorway speed. I'm still using stock Toyota East & West mounts with a TRD rear mount. |
