Anybody have a clue how to setup one of these to replace the oem settup? Do I just set it up to do the 0-1v swing output and feed it to the stock ecu input.

Does anyone know that If I run it for stock ecu (narrowband) can the display show the wideband output simultaneously?

There was a general discussion on here a few months ago about using a wideband sensor in narrow band mode for the ECU input whilst simultaneously displaying the wideband output. Seemed to be too good to be true. Might be worth a quick search. I seem to recall that the conclusion was that you really need two sensors

I can't see anything on that link that says it can simulate a narrowband output, or have I missed something?

I would weld a boss into the exhaust and run this sensor independently.

It doesn't actually say on that page, or a quick flick of the AEM site, that the analog out can be configured for simulated narrowband

As far as I know, the lower cost AEM wideband has a fixed output which is effectively a wideband analogue. The more expensive uego failsafe has a PC port which allows configuration. Not certain if this can be programmed to simulate a narrowband.

The only one I know for sure you can do this is the vems gauge, but I haven't seen these for sale for quite a while now.

there are dip switches on the back of the display, in the manual, it says one of the modes is 0-1v but it doesn't say its narrowband???
Its odd that that configuration is on the display module because that means if it does run in narrow band mode, you still have to have the display plugged in.

Finally got round to installing this in the stock location of the original 02 sensor and everything seems to be running fine.

Had a reading of 11 on full boost, I think that is ok ?

What reading are you seeing on idle/cruising?
I get around 14.7 wavering of course when idling or cruising with no acceleration as the ECU does it's stuff.

I get 14.7 will occasional blip to 15.1 on idle. Havnt done cruise yet as my foot is a bit digital.

Standard ECU still? 11:1 seems maybe a touch leaner than I would expect of the standard setup. Often they fuel 10:1 or richer.

Tweaked stock ecu, 1.3 bar. Jdm on 99 fuel if that makes a difference.

Also, what is strange is the warning light doesn't flag up the 02 heater open circuit.. odd, it used to.
