Hi!

I'm going to replace standard St205 exhaust system. I bought Blitz Nur Spec catback system and Japspeed downpipe. All of these is 3 inches. I'm just wondering is it a huge stupidity to leave as standard front pipe? I mean 3' downpipe, 2,25' front pipe and 3' catback.

What about boost creep?

The name cat back suggests it should go all the way from the cat (downpipe) to the rear end.

No it isn't catback system, sorry for confusion. I meant that one http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/ProductItem-109.aspx

So what are you thinking about leaving standard 2.25' inch front pipe?

The Blitz Nur Spec R system is actually 70mm which is 2.75". You will get the most benefit out of the 3" downpipe although ideally you would also have 3" front pipe/flexi section rather than the 2.25" pipe. One of the benefits of running that combination would be slightly more exhaust back pressure than a full 3" system and this would help reduce the chances of boost creep. I used to run a 3" downpipe and frontpipe mated to a Blitz system and it worked well.
