Any ideas on where to source an under tray? Presume best way is a breaker online?

Or, are there any C-One type copies around etc?

Yes Known breakers operate off Facebook, ebay and gumtree. I mainly use Mark Mills AKA Nokia aid. https://www.facebook.com/groups/804992846224366/

However Pejero from GT4 heaven https://www.facebook.com/groups/663083943739643/ is also worth a mention.

There is a third guy called Matt Caswell who breaks ST205s and 185s https://www.facebook.com/groups/gt4st185breaker/

Other than that parts are always up for grabs on here https://www.facebook.com/groups/62348807264/

and a guy called Gareth Vincent Morgan is breaking cars too and from what i can see he is fairly reliable. Don't buy parts from a guy called Danny McCabe.

Other than than C-one under tray copies are probably a better and more hard wearing option, compared to the OEM plastics. SCW is hoping to get a genuine C-one to copy in the future, but when that is I'm unsure.

Hope those links that help?

Thanks guys - I suspect postage from Austria would be as much as the cost of the item unfortunately!

Barry and Mike mentioned they were thinking of producing a C-One replica...might be worth hanging on for that.

I have a genuine C-One undertray which Barry could use as a pattern. I think I also have the mounting brackets somewhere. Will have a dig next weekend.

I used to make them, at one time I had access to high quality aluminium laminate that produced really crisp copies, the more recent material was a cheaper substitute and I wasnt happy to make more as the folds were less than crisp.
I had an original C-one tray that I borrowed from Otis and used as a template.
I also had a fibreglass one made using the C-one as a buck, it turned out really well but "people" questioned the strength of the fibreglass version so I never ordered a run of them.

Got 'gazumped' on the other tray (guy offered it to me at a price - I accepted and replied this morning - he sold it to someone else!)

So still looking...

Hi Col,

In my humble opinion I would get some good condition OEM undertrays, main reasons being - they are *much cheaper*, fit straight on, but most importantly have the side protection which the metal ones do not.

:)
