Now running motec m48 with 10 position switch and the motec running the boost.

Fraser mackellar racing installed new fuel pump, sard 800, motec and did the mapping

Suspension setup @ advanced Motorsport and engineering

280 @ 1.1 bar at the wheels.

Clutch started to slip on dyno , but the car makes 1.3bar on the road and is around 350bhp @ the fly

Current spec is a very long list which one day I will make .

runs about 420 hp at the hubs 8)

plans are to neaten up the interior, try to make it lighter and fit a TRD front LSD (already has a cusco rear.)

Not sure how long the TRD front diff will last if Adrian's experience is anything to go by. To look on the bright side if you are doing circuit racing then it might not be as hard on the diff as the sprints and drag events that the Fensport Gen 7 GT4X competed in?

That's what I'm hoping, the circuits shouldn't be as violent as sprints.

Still need to find someone to strip it down - check it over - and fit it .

Spoke to Fensport twice , keep saying they'll get back to me . Presume there not interested .

Will have to speak to the people who rebuilt my cusco diff , bit worried as the front LSD is a lot more complicated

Took the car to brands to check for leaks and problems.

Found a few issues and leaks but went well

Sounds good. Did you fit the TRD front diff and if so, how did the car handle?

Yep trd/kaaz front diff is in .... They managed to get a full rebuild kit (plates) from kaaz.

Required some bedding in but now is great.

Before I suffered major understeer.

But now with new tyres, new geo, re corner weighted, height change and the diff the car finally feels like it's on rails.

I don't think its all the diff, but you can definitely feel doing its job . Really hope It holds out.

So various dyno

March 2015
Image

HUB DYNO
Car was running a small J-line intercooler boost was 1.5 - 1.6 Bar
Had issues with a map sensor signal and boost control
But the torque figure is nice

MARCH 2016
Image
HUB DYNO
Car now running a larger mishimoto Core because of power loss in dirty air on track.
Boost control issue found --- wastegate was getting jammed open on the dipstick
Green line is new map --- smoother power delivery but feels less torqueeee

December - 2016

End of season power run

So I'm both happy and sad with end of season results.

I thought it would be much higher but my hub vs whp guestimates are way out. So actually with the power to weight ratio I have I'm performing pretty well.

it should be around 450 BHP mark @ 1.6 bar...... But its a little lower and its currently running more like 1.5bar

everything looks good though........ time to turn it up to 2 BAR this year and hit the 400whp /500bhp mark.

I doubt I will run this high during the race maybe 1.7 - 1.8.

Quite a good result for the 3S-GTE.
Pistons stock?

No not anymore.

think 86.5 cp pistons, eagle rods, 264 piper cams.

For 1.5 /1.6 bar its about where it should be. Full boost by 4k rpm

Ive been running low boost for reliability for 40min race / 30 min qualifying

Still have 50 - 100 kg easy to strip and i will get it mapped for 2 bar -- but dial it back for the race

Well shafts are not the evil you are :)
You can be interested in a joint clearance on the piston and cylinder exposed?
50-100 kg. What to throw out of the car going? Driver? :)
