I am about to replace the ecu on my 185 and the ecu is able to run map. How have people removed the air flow metre ? I am thinking about replacing the induction kit with one from a 205. Is that the best way ?

Most would fit a straight intake or an open filter kit. However a closed filter box would be a better option. Only thing is I have no idea if a 205 filter could be made to fit. There would be some issues to overcome as the 205 airbox draws air from behind the front wing via holes in the inner wing which won't be there in a 185. It would certainly take some head scratching but it would be neat if it could be made to work!

Thanks for getting back to me. If I went down the straight intake option, I would need to move the battery into the boot, and it will be a pain in the butt.
I'll see if I can borrow a 205 intake and see from there. I'll put up pictures when I progress.
Sent from my phone. Sorry for any mistakes
