I was just about to post a topic up about this, thanks for posting AndyS :p

I was looking through the fensport Catalouge, They have a air con removal kit:
Air con removal kit, consisting of:

1 x Alloy Idler Pulley, CNC machined, Light weight designed to fit original bearing. The pulley is ribbed to allow the correct belt path as shown in the picture.

1 x belt - please specify std alternator pulley(1025) or oversize alternator pulley (1050)

£39.95

Has anyone used one of those? are there any other alternatives?

Cheers
Shane

Don't forget to add p&p and vat to the Fensport kit as well as a new bearing...

I would be a little concerned as to the durability of an aluminium pulley, and I very much doubt you will see any real performance benefit by fitting a lighter pulley, but it looks shiny!

I sell a kit to fit...£45 inc p&p, (and a new bearing)

Kris,
Whats your kit made out of? Do you have any pics? Details?

Is that 45 pounds including postage worldwide ? :D If not how much would postage be to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, 4170.

Cheers
Shane

Shane - the pulley is made from steel, very similar to the stock unit.

I will get a shipped price for you.

Andy - not sure on the part number, I would focus much more on the actual make up of the belt.

The belt you need is a 5 x ? I probably go for a 980 and see if that fits ok.

Personally I wouldn't go this route since you will have to remove the alternator in order to remove/change the belt
