After a few weeks of being stood out side mine stripped of turbo i Finally got the old girl back up and running.
The removal of the old turbo was a *bleep* to say the least, rusted nut heads or seized bolts oh and the odd stripped thread.
Would love to have taken pictures of the removal but left the car everyday wanting to gas axe it no photo it.
the stage 3 turbo went on a treat the exhaust manifold stud didn't ended up have the turbo on and off 4 times before getting all studs up to torque.
(note if the turbo has to come off with the manifold head and any studs back off and not the nut , replace the stud for a long threaded type and screw the long thread into the head. Found out mine has been helexed before but found about 8 mm of thread right down inside the head). Got a Aussie down pipe and decat fitted while i was about it and also removed the air con.
But all this wont have been possible without gt4daves help thks mate your a life saver
