Why is it that when the weather is hot my car overboosts by .03 bar and when its cool it underboosts by about the same????????

Being controlled by an Apexi AVCR set up, I presume correctly, by Thor????

Hmm, that's unusual in that it's the wrong way round compared to "normal"

Generally overboost is more common under cold conditions and underboost in warmer climes

Given the miniscule variation it might just be one of those things.

You could try a pressure and leak test on the actuator just in case the diaphragm has a small hole which is temperature sensitive

Pump up the actuator with a pump and gauge. It should open circa 0.6 bar and it should remain open until you release the pressure
If it slowly closes then you have a small leak

OK. will check the actuator...thanks :)

which leads me on nicely to my next question.....If I buy an upgraded actuator, will I need to adjust the boost controller to suit???? ie change the duty cycle or whatever I need to change????
