about to renew the lower arms and 8's ready for mot time.
so i plan on replacing the strutt ball joints at the same time, changing to trd 25mm lowering springs, uprated front arb bushes and maybe a cusco 2 point top front brace. will a whiteline adjustable rear arb complement this setup and what are they like to fit and setup :?: .
regards
paul

I think the whiteline bar will go nicely with that setup, its pretty straightforward to fit and setup.

Removing the droplinks that connect the bar to the strut is the most awkward part of the job, these require and allen key and a spanner over the top, they often round off and can be a pain. I would recommend replacing the droplinks with new, these are available from Toyota or Blueprint ones from most motorfactors.

Then four bolts to remove the brackets which hold the bar and its bushes in, these are easily accessible underneath the car. After this its just a case of wiggling the bar out of one side, I found an assistant working on the other side makes this much easier.

Setting up the new bar is simply a case of deciding which of the 3 adjustment holes to use, the outermost hole gives the softest response the inner the stiffest. Given that the bar is already thicker than the stock item (thus stiffer) I would use the outer most hole to start with. I am still on this setting after 18 months and like the way my car handles.

Cheers,

Mike

They are adjustable, what length do you need? They are available from the US only, you can order online @ http://www.racingbeat.com
