If the TT doesn't work with the alarm you can still lock the doors with the key

That's what I do. Mandraulic door lock. Whenthe TT times out the Clifford I have auto locks the doors :wink:

Dunno :? only ever owned the one. I know some alarms have tt's built in as a little chav fellow me lad I worked with had one on his uno turbo.

i have a automatic blitz TT FATT just because i forget to leave the engine running - for that reason i find it invaluable.

I have heard that some folks have their TT linked up with their alarm, but i have never bothered.

HI MY PROB IS MY DOORS HAVE BEEN HAD A GO AT. AND THEREFORE IT IS A STRUGGLE TO LOCK IT MANUALLY, I NORMALLY RELY ON MY REMOTE CENTRAL LOCKING. WHEN I LEAVE THE VEHICLE.

Just out of curiosity, do modern synthetic oils carbon up as much as they used to in the old days if you didn't allow your turbo to cool. I think modern synthetics have additives to stop this from happening but I wouldn't bet my turbo on it. :-)

I dont have a TT but my rule of thumb is to sit at idle and wait for the radiator fan to cut out before I switch off the ignition.

me too. i let it idle till fan comes on then awiths off when fan finishes.
