if you could refer to my other post also
has it may have relevance
how much can a avc-r overboost in this cold weather?
its set up 0.9 and 1.1
but with the controler off, running off actuator its hitting 90-95
with it ON set at 0.9 its hitting 1.1
with it ON set at 1.1 its hitting 1.2+
does it just need setting back up?
it was set up proffesionally by the way and only seems to have
started to over boost the last month
(but could you please also read my other similar post)
as it maybe relevent thanks

Its not uncommon for controllers to give a higher boost in the colder weather as the air is more dense to start with.

I guess your boost controller was set up during the warmer summer weather (when the air is less dense). You will have to re-calibrate it for the winter preferably when its a cold frosty morning, ambient air temp around 0 deg C.

You will also find that most controllers will overboost if you do any track day driving. Its advisable to either re-set to a lower duty or switch it off completely and rely on the actuator boost setting.
