I've just bought one (apparently) with a blown motor, what are the differences to a stock 185?

No idea :oops: I've bought it blind. :shock:
If it's ok I'll put the motor from my white 185 in it, if not I'll be breaking it.

Kris is referring to the ST185 Rally I think. It's the most lightweight model 185 with manual windows and a closer ratio box. It's narrowbody however, and a ST185 A is widebody so I don't think you have the uber rare Rally model. Got a picture?

It's a bit of an eyesore at the moment, but £256 with a Blitz Nur Sport exhaust isn't to be sniffed at.

Looks to me like it was a narrowbody and the replacement wing is widebody. :roll:

It has a facelift bonnet and pre-facelift rear lights. Afaik all real 'A's are wideboy so the badge could be stuck on later?

I collected it last night, It's deffo a narrowbody.

It has "A" stickers on both sides and the bootlid.
It has a 'leccy driver's seat and windows and climate control.

So, what is it?

sounds like a similar spec to mine, but mine's not an 'A'.

mine has/did have,

electric lumber drivers seat,
central locking/remote locking,
leccy windows,
leccy sunroof,
abs,
cruise control,
climate control,
live 10 speaker sound system and
leather seats .
all as standard ;)

she's a weighty beast... lol
