eBay item 8017692512

This item

I know 18s will give a harder ride but what I need to know for sure is that the dimensions are correct for a 205.

I refuse to mess about with spacers and such.

TIA

Paul, I can confirm that these will fit directly onto the ST205 hubs and no spacers are required.

I should ask him paul. jbmcar does own a 205 IIRC. Although he does bat for the "other" team lol

Should fit I would guess

Cheers chaps.

And while I'm pestering for info. What in your oppinions is a good price for these (with the toyo proxys he is selling them with)

I can only justify shelling out for them if I get a bargain for my troubles.

Hmm, I looked at these as well and TBh woudl not poy anymore than the £800 as woudl prefer to buy new wheels that I know are not buckled - I hav ebeen caught with that before.

I agree, £800 would be top whack IMO. TBH I'd prefer just to buy the wheels and fit my own tyres but that's just my personal preference.

Looking around it's £950 odd for the wheels on their todd.

But I'm not gonna go much over £800 cos I simply can't afford it.

Last time I looked at his site, jmbcar had 2 WRC faffs and a 185 CS. Think he'll be telling the truth on the fitment.

Looks similar to the wheels we took from Loosey's 205

I've spoken to the guy now (and made a tit of myself by asking questions he had already answered in his description) and I'll be putting in a bid... Just not a very high bid :)

I've just thought.

Although the rolling radius is nighon identical to stock the wheels are 8" width and I have had my car lowered (tein springs take off 37mm). Am I likely to get any rubbing issues at full lock?

I *think* you will be OK on clearance. The only thing I found with my 18x7 OZ's and 225/40*18's was a tendency for the rear tyres to rub slightly against the strut casing whilst cornering at speed on track days. It was pretty minor so I wasn't too worried. Not sure how the dynamics of this work tho .... :?

My 18 Super T's never rubbed.

Congrats on winning them m8 - I must admit they do look blooming nice on the 4.

Cheers. I went a bit above what people recommended here but i have talked to jon and they do sound perfect. He also says if they're not I can walk away :)

If the tyres and wheels are as described I reckon I have saved myself more than £500.

All in all not bad for a days work.
